This is the painting I am supposed to be working on today and have been too lazy to do anything. Sigh.Alex took the reference photo for me when he was in Brazil.
Perhaps this painting should be named "Ode to a Brazilian Mamma".
And this is the little stinker on my desk and sometimes I wish she would move so I could actually have some room on said desk. Sigh.
As I sit here in my office there is a cat on my desk, three dogs at my feet, a bird on her perch and a toothless cat staring at me 'cause I have not given him his soft food yet.
Again, Sigh.

ReplyDeleteI would love to know what kind of pencils you use. I am partial to Prisma colors myself but was curious as to what you use. Your work looks fantastic!

ReplyDeleteI do use prismacolor and have loved them for years. I do use some Derwent and some Faber-Castell. Recently I purchased some Derwent Coloursoft and love their creamy texture, they are very soft and blend nicely.
